Come for the fun…Stay for the Education!

At Do Re Mi for Kids we are dedicated to providing the very best in Music Education for your child. Our programs are both group based and family oriented, and are based on current research in the field of Early Childhood Music Education.

Start your infant or toddler on the road to music competence in our Music Pups class—sing, dance, tap, shake and play in an energetic musical environment designed to the basic skills that will help your child excel in more formal music lessons later on. Or, ask about our outreach program for daycares and preschools.

Our introduction to keyboard classes are based on the Musik Garten curriculum. Students learn to play, harmonize by ear and sight sing before they begin to apply these skills to reading music. Classes also include singing, dancing, rhythm and hand drumming, and theory. The program is designed to provide your child with a well-rounded musical education which can be applied to any instrument.

Older children continue their studies in private or semi-private lessons and prepare for the RCM exams.
Our classes are currently offered only for piano, but we are expanding to serve you better, and will soon be offering the same complete education for other instruments.

Want to know what we’re all about? Come join us for our March Break and Summer Camps. Our counsellors have put together a fun-filled week of singing, dancing, rhythm instruments and crafts. You’ll be amazed at what your kids can do when they put on their show for you at the end of the week!

MARCH BREAK CAMP AVAILABLE:
March Break with Music at Do Re Mi for Kids - Let your musical creativitiy run wild! This year's theme is "Africa". Open to children ages 5-13, with or without previous musical experience. The kids will be singing, dancing, drumming, making musical instruments and learning basic music skills. At the end of the week, they will be putting on a show for their families. Camp runs from 9:00-4:30 with before/after care available. Friday includes a pizza supper in preparation for the show at 6:30. Come join the fun!
